I would say that the difference is that I would assign Wolf Man [ to ] almost more like a disease that ’s happening . It ’s a piffling morsel more of a dense matter that is sort of taking over .
So I believe the pace of that is quite different . But still , both are similar challenges when you ’re not playing yourself , I guess .

Christopher Abbott : Well , the war paint operation was as cool as it looked . It was jolly deadening and operose , but deserving it . It helped inform or remind me where I was sort of meant to be mentally . You know what I mean ? Because Aarjen Tuiten , who designed it , it ’s all very specific .
There ’s about seven or eight stages of makeup , and once I know what I looked like , it can remind me mentally where I ’m sort of supposed to be in terms of the levels of animate being human .

Christopher Abbott : Well , I think it ’s important to have sport . It ’s a repulsion moving picture , right ? So you want to go to a theater and experience the jump scares and have that rolling wave - coaster drive , but by the end , hopefully , you still recognize the catastrophe of it and that there is some center to it . I call up that part of it is what makes it last . You know what I mean ?
