The show endeavor to make the consultation care about these characters late in the last time of year ofThe Office , but neither of the character were very likable and annoyed audience when the show focalize on them .

Charles Miner

Idris Elba was another recognizable histrion who appeared in multiple instalment ofThe Officebut was n’t introduced until Season 5 of the show . He was charter by Dunder Mifflin to replace Ryan as Vice President of Sales .

Charles was a more serious theatrical role but was n’t as funny of a foil to the more outrageous fictitious character , similarly to a character like David Wallace , than he could have been . Charles only stay on for a few episodes but he was a bit dull when he was in the office .

Jo Bennett

Kathy Bates was another big star who appeared on the show for multiple episodes and was inaugurate as Jo Bennett in Season 6 as the CEO of Sabre . Sabre acquired Dunder Mifflin and Bennett became the psyche of the company .

She would jaw the Scranton arm throughout the show traveling from her home in Florida to gibe in on her employees . She , again , was meant to be a more serious character and enhancer to Michael Scott , but miss the mark and just fare off as a bit nettlesome .

Roy Anderson

Roy was a reference that was inThe Officefrom the beginning and was never meant to be a likable character . He and Pam were engage for the first few seasons of the show and Roy was always a pretty annoying fictional character .

He treated Pam reasonably terribly during their family relationship and most lover desire to see Pam and Jim become a twosome . Roy was one of the only true antagonist inThe Officeand most buff were annoyed by his discourtesy and violence .

Ryan Howard

Ryan had a roller coaster of a fictitious character discharge throughout the series as he started out as a pretty responsible for business enterprise school pupil who was working as an intern at Dunder Mifflin . He was promote within the fellowship and his egotism grew until he was give the sack after a scandal .

Being fired did n’t ache his self at all and he ended up add up back because Michael wanted him to take back , and his off - and - on relationship and toying with Kelly was another annoying part about the persona .

Luke Cooper

While he only come along a brace of times in the series ' 7th season , Evan Peters ' Luke Cooper was hired on as Dunder Mifflin in a case of obvious nepotism due to his relationship with director and uncle , Michael Scott .

Unfortunately , Luke ’s disruptive and beggarly - gamey attitude soon made him the most hated member of the power and promptly became pestering to both fans and his uncle , leave in an out or keeping but   deserve spanking session that ultimately conduct to his resignation .

Cathy Simms

When Pam give-up the ghost on Maternity leave during the eighth season , she was interchange by Cathy Simms ( played by Lindsey Broad ) and induct next to Jim , who she almost immediately lead off coquet with despite his refusal to participate .

When things intensify while some of the staff were   on a business tripper to Florida , Jim was storm to take drastic measures ( fly the coop with Dwight ) to   invalidate Cathy and she was thankfully removed from the office .

Brian

While the movie crew was referenced throughout the entirety of the series , it was n’t until the ninth time of year that boom manipulator Brian ( played by   Chris Diamantopoulos ) appear on tv camera and became a part of the story he had spent year documenting .

WhenJim and Pam ’s married couple experienced some long - distance difficulties , Brian stepped up to comfort and protect Pam in Jim ’s absence seizure , revealing he had germinate look for Pam . Much like Cathy , devotee were annoyed by Brian ’s more pernicious effort to interpose in their spousal relationship , which at long last cost him his chore with the documentary gang .

Date Mike

One of the most pestiferous and cringe - worthy characters onThe Officewas actually analter ego of Michael Scott(played by Steve Carell ) known as " Date Mike " that only appear when he was essay to woo a member of the opposite sex .

Date Mike can be easily spotted by his Kangol chapeau and unbuttoned shirt and communicates almost exclusively with cheesy pick - up lines . While his over - the - top antics and behavior can be humorous , Date Mike is without a doubt one of the most pestering man in the club .

Kelly Kapoor

While Kelly Kapoor ( played by Mindy Kaling ) is without a doubt a rooter - favorite character onThe Office , there is no denying the fact that she is view by her coworkers to be one of the most annoying faculty extremity of Dunder Mifflin Scranton .

Whether she ’s gossiping about hoi polloi outside of the office , neglecting her bureau duties toflirt with Ryan Howard ,   or complaining about Ryan to anyone who will heed , Kelly walk the okay line between adorably charming and   irritatingly   annoying .
