Bebe Wood : It ’s really unbelievable . I was approach , or possibly had already come on just past my ten - yr milepost as a professional actor . So , it felt very apt , the timing of it . It ’s just kind of crazy how it worked out that room . She was my very first fit partner as a professional worker , and I kind of found my own agency into it . My parents did n’t labor me toward amusement . It was something that I kind of just wanted to do on my own .
I think if I had actually lived it and have it and realize what it was and felt , " I do n’t consider this is for me , " I do n’t opine I would ’ve keep acting . But she was just so incredible on that one daylight that we worked together [ that ] I imagine I was whole barrack . I was like , " I totally want to keep doing this . This is fun . " And I just start working more regularly after that . In a way , it ’s all all because of her . She took her chance on me then and took her chance on me now , so it ’s very exceptional . It ’s very , very particular .

Avantika , “ Sexy ” is my favorite Song dynasty in the musical , and you bodied it in the film . Can you talk about come near that ? How do you gear up to sing that and also incorporate all the move man ?
Avantika : prepare to sing that was definitely a mix of some clobber we read the day of and clobber we memorialise apparently . I think back we were on perhaps our first week of cinematography and I was kind of just getting line up to this already . Already talk it in my audition was fairly , fairly intimidating . I ’ve exclusively been a shower singer for predominantly of my biography . And being in a mold of so many realized vocal ball of fire was just really nerve - wracking .
One and a half calendar week in Paramount called and was like , " Hey , we ’d love for you to come in and do a transcription of Sexy . " And I was like , " Oh my God , I have n’t prepped at all for this . " And they were like , " Do n’t worry , it ’s just prerecords . You ’re lead to be hunky-dory . " And so I went in and we had an amazing music squad , Mary Mitchell , masses who just really helped support me and help me finger far more at ease .
I call back extend into the studio , Renee had just finished recording and she was coming out and she was like , " countenance me know if you need any help vocal producing you , being in the studio and helping you out . " And I was like , " Renee female child , I think I might shit myself if I sing in front of you . Please , I do n’t think I can handle this , but I love you and apprise you for this offer . "
