Kat Dennings : Well , first of all , thank you for saying that . That is very sweet . I ’ve been really overwhelmed with the sweet of the internet . That ’s not something I ever thought I ’d say . I really apprize how nice people have been about Darcy .
But yeah , it ’s funny . The main question I had for the writer was , " Was Darcy blipped ? " Like , what happened ? We decided amongst ourselves that she was not blipped . And while we do n’t see that flashback , I like as an doer to imagine Darcy in the blip . Because that would be uproarious .
I recollect the estimation would be that Darcy was influenced by Jane Foster and Dr. Selvig to become an astrophysicist . It ’s kind of play to watch her organic evolution , and now she ’s a gaffer and she ’s a doctor . I imagine she ’s just been in school with her head in a book this whole clip .
As far as you know , when was the last fourth dimension that Darcy saw Jane Foster ?
Kat Dennings : That ’s a good doubt . What we know is that the last sentence was in Thor : The Dark World . I ’d care to think that they saw each other more . I ’d like to cerebrate that they have a text - phone call - FaceTime family relationship .
I think they were in contact personally . I bet Jane write her a varsity letter of recommendation .
Previously , you notice about really have into the legal action inWandaVision . What ’s been your favorite part about portraying Darcy this sentence around ?

Kat Dennings : Well , for the lineament , certainly . I love Randall Park . He ’s a wonderful person and amazing worker . For me , I was just so frantic to be in the scenes with him .
But for those characters , I reckon there ’s that fun thing of two masses that you never thought would be put together , from two completely different movies and dissimilar parts of the MCU . find out that is really fun , and I ’m so happy hoi polloi reply to it . It was fun to act . I jazz that aspect with the potato poker chip . He ’s a joy , and there ’s a caboodle more of that .
What ’s the big difference between work on these Marvel films and this fresh foray into the MCU television side on Disney+ ?
Kat Dennings : scoot a show and shooting a moving-picture show are dissimilar , of course . There ’s that thing of like , " Okay , we have to shoot this fix out . So we ’re gon na do this , " and whatever . There ’s always a logistical matter with the show . It ’s a minuscule more controlled in a film , but Marvel is the best of the best . They ’re as skillful as it gets , so it did n’t find that different at all . They ’re on top of their plot , and obviously , everybody is is the best at their job . And it ’s a real joyousness . That experience is pretty unheard of in the world of indie motion picture , consume ramen in the loo like I usually do on set .
