Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

As much as I ’d love to believe otherwise , I ’m not really expect any bigStar Warssets from LEGO celebratingRevenge of the Sith’s20th day of remembrance . Having been let go of in 2005 , it ’s been 20 years sinceRevenge of the Sithwas in theaters , the culmination of George Lucas ' prequel trilogy with Anakin Skywalker falling to the dark side as Darth Vader . That said , I ’m getting the good sense that LEGO may be holding back until Episode III ’s next big milepost .

It ’s so hush-hush that The LEGO Group has provide some of the good and most covetedStar Warsmodels . For fans young and onetime , there ’s nothing like building an iconic ship or tantrum from one of the many moving-picture show or show set in the Galax urceolata far , far away . The final prequel moving picture is no exception , though there are a few reasons why I feel like 2025 might not have the bigRevenge of the SithLEGO adjust some collectors might have been hoping for .

My Hopes Are Pretty Low For Big Revenge of the Sith LEGO Sets

There Will Be Some According To Rumors (Sort Of)

When regard the idea of twentieth - anniversaryRevenge of the SithLEGO band , iconic location and potential brick - built scenes from the moving picture likely spring to beware : Anakin and Obi - Wan ’s Mustafar duel , Palpatine ’s essay arrest by the Jedi Council , Anakin leading the 501st to the Jedi Temple , perhaps a new big - scale model of General Grievous , and more . However , rumors online have yet to brook any of these nominate model , either traditional play sets or pitch-dark infrastructure diorama , a Modern personal credit line of presentation models that has been come up in popularity the last few years .

That being said , there are a few sets with connections toRevenge of the Siththat have already make out out in 2025 , such asJanuary 1st ’s ARC-170 Starfighter ( 75402 ) . Having made its first show in the open scenes of Episode III , the Clone Wars - era ship does technically count . The same run for many of the Clone Wars - era ship , vehicles , and trooper battle camp rumored for 2025 with similar ties toRevenge of the Sith , though I ’ve yet to see anything more lineal than that .

Not all Star Wars LEGO minifigures are created equal , as some are much more exclusive and worthful than others on the secondary grocery from resellers .

keep that in mind , it seems as though my dreaming of having a Yoda vs Palpatine panorama in the Galactic Senate chambers is going to go unrealised in 2025 . Based on the general rumors and reports that can be found online , I ’m feeling as though this intend LEGO is perhaps waiting until the larger 25th anniversary five years from now . It would chase with past twentieth anniversary for the previous prequel moving-picture show .

LEGO Didn’t Really Go Big For Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones' 20ths Either

The Bigger Focus Looks To Be The 25th Anniversary

alas forThe Phantom Menace , the film ’s sacking in 1999 coincides with LEGO ’s day of remembrance with theStar Warsfranchise in general . As such , 2019 saw LEGO celebratingStar Warson a much grander scale than the first prequel film alone . That said , one of LEGO ’s 20th anniversary models did know the portion out day of remembrance withThe Phantom Menacewith Anakin ’s Podracer - 20th Anniversary Edition ( 75258 ) , as well as a couple polybag and microfighter sets released throughout the twelvemonth .

In comparison,2024 learn LEGO releasing a nifty number ofPhantom Menace - inspired sets , even in the thick of their fully grown twenty-fifth anniversary solemnisation . This include the release ofPhantom Menacemodels such as theMos Espa Podrace Diorama ( 75380 ) , Droideka ( 75381 ) , a unexampled iteration ofDarth Maul ’s Sith Infiltrator ( 75383 ) , a gift with leverage Trade Federation Troop Carrier , as well as some polybags and in - store freebie .

Likewise , Attack of the Clones'20th anniversary did n’t meet much love either , with only Obi - Wan Kenobi ’s Jedi Starfighter ( 75333 ) and the smaller Clone Trooper Command Station conflict pack being released in 2022 . As such , I ’m expecting LEGO to celebrate to a much bigger degree in 2027 for Episode II ’s 25th . Naturally , the same run forRevenge of the Sithwith this year likely being a small less compared to its 25th in 2030 .

LEGO Just Celebrated Their Own 25th Anniversary With Star Wars

They Went Pretty Big in 2024

It ’s also worth take down that LEGO went pretty giving in 2024 for their 25th anniversary with multiple newStar Warssets across the board , many of which came with special 25th anniversary bonus minifigures . As such , I would n’t be surprised if LEGO is expect to slow down down a snatch in 2025 , especially with a lack of new content this year outside ofSkeleton Crewwrapping up in a calendar week andAndorseason 2 in April . While I ’d love to be wrong and get an epical Mustafar or Coruscant affaire d’honneur hardening , I really do n’t cerebrate those are in the cards this year forRevenge of the Sith’s20th . Here ’s looking to 2030 .
