DC Universestar David Harbour has some ideas for where he would love hisCreature Commandoscharacter to show up in James Gunn ’s superhero dealership . WithGunn ’s DC Universe finally underwaythroughCreature Commandos , several new worker have link the rebooted dealership in the world of aliveness . However , while severalCreature Commandoscharactersare already adjust to appear as their live - natural process counterparts in future DC Universe projects , there are still a few whiz whose future is unclear .

During an exclusive consultation withScreenRantforCreature Commandosseason 1,Harbour open up about what DC Universe projects he would enjoy to show up in now that Eric Frankenstein has made his animated debut in Gunn ’s enfranchisement . One task that has Harbour really fascinated is theLanternsTV show , and he said the followers :

David Harbour : perhaps , I have n’t envision the slate . I ’ve been moderately busybodied . I ’m finish up up a bunch of hooey here in good order now . But I find out the Lanterns thing , that sounds really interesting . That sounds really interesting , but I do n’t cerebrate he belongs in that one . So it ’s sort of a combination of what I retrieve [ where ] he belongs in and what I would like . I ’d have to look at it - I know he ’s not in Superman , so do n’t vex ! [ laugh ]

ScreenRant : I would have killed to see him in Superman .

David Harbour : [ Laughs ] He ’s just on the streets , just [ endure ] ' Whoa , who is that ? ! '

David Harbour’s DCU Comments Set A Promising Precedent For His Character’s Future

While Harbour may not be joiningtheLanternscastanytime soon , there is still the rest of the DC Universe to take into account , as he could be joining a unlike movie or tv set show down the argument . During the same audience withScreenRant , Harbour was asked if he had begin to figure out a path he would trifle Frankenstein in live - action afterCreature Commandosseason 1 . Even though there may not be a script in topographic point for his live - legal action introduction , Harbour apportion what this process is like working with DC Studios :

David Harbour : There ’s nothing firm , or there ’s no script or anything , so you take it from that . The playfulness thing about this back - and - forth appendage , a lot of time , I have a band of possession , or I want a lot of ownership of my character reference , but it ’s been kind of fun because we went in the cubicle , we represent the hell out of it , and then these vitaliser add up in and they show you all this new stuff and nonsense where you ’re like , ' Oh , he ’s on his back at this point , and he pulls him down , he does this , jump back when he says this line , ' and you ’re like , ' Oh , I would n’t have done that , but that ’s nerveless . '

It ’s almost like you have another collaborator with you on the character . So it ’s playfulness to look out the series and think about him in a dissimilar way . I have a lot of my own ideas , but the dynamics of the animation itself gave me a lot of ideas as well . So yeah , it ’d be super fun . We ’ll see what James derive up with , and if there ’s elbow room for him in the future . But I think , within this universe , to see that monster run around will be fun .

Even though this is a different approach between franchise characters , it also spotlight the synergy that exists with Gunn ’s DC Universe across vivification and live - action . From Harbour ’s account , play Frankenstein as part of theCreature Commandoscast also gives him idea for when he will finally show up in alive - action at law . Whether it is a future movie or television show remains to be go steady , as Gunn could have specific plans for Frankenstein that he is n’t ready to share just yet .
