Marvel ’s idiot box scheduling has yet to even bear on the event ofAvengers : eternity War(outside of somename driblet of Thanos ) , and this week ’s episode ofCloak & Dagger- the sixth of season two - does n’t change this .
One of the crafty part of Marvel TV ’s " it ’s all link up " mantra is how the shows do or do not plow what is happening in the films . It was n’t untilAvengers : Endgamethat themovies themselves in reality acknowledge a TV show , butAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.has routinely bind itself into the larger canon with major Hydra spark and mentions of the Sokovia Accords and other MCU events . The Netflix box of the universe only made pocket-size nod to what has happened in the past , while shows likeFreeform’sCloak & Daggerhave had minimal ( but potent ) MCU tie-up . What can also make their connection more difficult to nail is the timeline , asCloak & Daggerhas never definitively said when the show takes piazza .
