This episode continues the fightbetween Shikamaru ’s teamand Jiraiya ’s squad that begins in the previous sequence . It also declare oneself a somewhat interesting opponent who has the ability to practice Byakugan , and this leave Neji to come into the spot more . But finally , it ’s another episode in a stale filler arc that does short to appease fans .
Even the plus to democratic secondary characters into more central use is n’t enough to save the episode that is mostly dull . This episode does boast the return of fan - favorite characters like Itachi , Sasori , and Deidara , but again , they ’re featured in such limited roles it ’s hard enough to make up for the failing of the overall storyline .

The worst episode ofNaruto : Shippudenis yet another sequence from Jiraiya ’s scroll filler arc . It ’s actually a little surprising this instalment ranked so low compare to the rest because it is full of exciting battle sequences . The shinobi of Hidden Leaf band together to impart Sasuke back to Konoha now that he has killed Orochimaru and is working with the Akatsuki .
They require to deal with him themselves before anyone else can . But it wo n’t be easy . They are forced to press against Sasori and other knock-down Akatsuki members . The reason this episode is probably ranked so low is that almost all the battle sequences are rehash of the canyon battle . Nothing new or original is introduced in this sequence rendering it mostly wasted .
